Spam is a daily burden in almost every Inbox on the planet, a constant nightmare and a threat to every email user and computer. After dealing with spam for a long time, we decided to do something about it. Suncoast Secure Mail is a team of programmers, web developers, and system administrators, located in Florida with an average experience of over 13 years in the IT field. One day we were talking among ourselves about how much spam each one of us had been receiving, and the many risks these emails pose to us, our families and our computers. We started talking about finding a way to stop the spam once and for all without the use of filters, which are easily fooled and circumvented by spammers. After much discussion, we came up with the solution, and we decided to use it in several of our mail servers. Many months later, after developing FIGTSPAMtm installing the software and after extensive testing, none of our mailboxes received a single spam message, because all was properly rejected. We consider this a remarkable achievement, considering that many of our accounts were targeted with several times more spam than legitimate emails. Our team was so excited with the results that a patent has been applied for, and it was decided to start a company devoted to protecting our subscribers' inboxes from spam, using our innovative approach.
